Scratch
Scratch is a free educational programming language that was developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It can be downloaded to be installed on your PC HERE or accessed through your browser with the online editor HERE. Scratch is designed to be fun, educational, and easy to learn. It has the tools for creating interactive stories, games, art, simulations, and more, using block-based programming. Users program in Scratch by dragging blocks from the block palette and attaching them to other blocks like a jigsaw puzzle. This method of programming (building code with blocks) is referred to as ‘drag-and-drop programming’

Paint.NET
Paint.NET is freeware raster graphics editor program image and photo editing software for PCs that runs on Windows. You can download Paint.NET HERE

MSWLogo
MSWLogo is a Logo-based programming environment intended for educational purposes. The one big plus of Logo, is that it's remarkably easy to learn. It's a great introduction to programming for students. Although graphs and charts are its main application, MSWLogo can be used to create games or programs for Windows. You can download and install MSWLogo HERE. Follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your PCs.
